How to Use It
Set your risk first
Choose a percent of your account or a fixed dollar amount you're prepared to lose if the stop is hit.
Place the stop at a level
Put the stop where the trade idea is wrong — beyond a key level — not where the dollar amount feels good.
Let size do the work
A wider stop means fewer contracts. If even one contract is too much, the micro or a skipped trade is the answer.
